The production was staged between February 14-23, 2003 in the Burhamthorpe auditorium. It was a blast to perform - and a pleasure for the audiences (by all accounts)! Musical Theatre Etobicoke was a fabulous group to do a production with. So much talent in one cast. Thanks a million! I hope that the glitter jacket and spandex shorts weren’t too much for Etobicoke’s theatre crowd thoughÂ…. Be sure to watch for more productions from this amazing group.
“Middle of Somewhere” gets Jeff Western Airplay

Only a year ago (summer 2002), Jeff released his first ever single to radio in Saskatchewan (his home province) - where he hoped to win acceptance with ears that were somewhat familiar to his sound. The single he released, “Leaving all they’ve left behind” (also supported by financial recognition from FACTOR) was from Jeff’s 2-track CD effort entitled, “Middle of Somewhere”. The country/folk single was well received by radio programmers and fell into regular rotation and received feature coverage at some stations as they did regular updates on up-and-coming Canadian talent. The song spoke poetically about the h eart wrenching experiences of prairie families who are losing their traditional way of life - farming - as the industry is slowly watching itself collapse.
