Thanks to everyone who braved the snow and cold and made it to the CLUB for the Regina show last night. It was great to see a full room for the last 2006 show in the Queen City. As I mentioned at the show, we recorded the whole set and will release it as a PODCAST on this site in December, so check back on the listening page on this site. Rob (Bass), Kieran (cello) and Jill (backing vox) - you were great as usual. Thanks to all for your support - much much appreciated.

Interview with Josh and Blair (91.3 FM CJTR)

Thanks Blair and Josh for the interview last night on Regina’s CJTR 91.3fm. The hour literally flew by. It was great being able to chat about all things ‘out on the prairies’ - and thanks for playing all the tunes you managed to squeeze in to the show. I think it was the first interview where I got to explain the confusion between my name vs the famous porn star with the similar name?? Which (by the way) partially explains the 30,000 visits to my website last month…..that went right into the galleries to look at pictures…. SO HEY - yes YOU - while you’re here - go to my gallery and check it out! some good pix in there - sorry no porn though…..
TV & Print ads starting soon - thx FACTOR!

A recent FACTOR grant to promote the album in Western Canada has allowed us to work with print publications and television (CTV) to get the word out about the CD and shows. Thanks to CTV for the great job on the ad production – much appreciated. Watch for coverage in your part of Western Canada in Nov and Dec. Thanks to FACTOR for the huge help. And thx to Brad/Matt at Rocket Ace Moving Pictures for the video footage used in the ads!
Humboldt, Coffee, & maybe even some reality TV

Looking forward to my visit to Humboldt SK this week. Not only is it a cool prairie town, but I’ve been invited to do a songwriting workshop at the school in addition to a show the next night. This is the 3rd Humboldt show in as many months & I hope to see lots of new faces out at the Prairie Perk! - a GREAT little Saskatchewan venue. And to add some spice to the night, the “travelling barber” TV show is rolling into town and will tape the show for use on their program next year. And this is perfect because….I like reality TV and……. I need a haircut……
