Ness Creek - here we come

Following a half hour audition/set in Regina in April, we received note that myself + band are programmed into the Ness Creek Festival - Fri July 20 - 7pm Main Stage. If you are taking in the festival this year, check us out and say hi. The festival has grown to be called “one of the most influential festivals in Western Canada” - with recent performers including my favs, Martha Wainwright and Elliot Brood - to name a few.
Choral Performance of new Song

A new song I wrote in Jan ‘07- “Birch Back Canoe” has been arranged for chorus (TTBB) and will be performed this Sat May 12th by FORTE - The Toronto Mens Chorus in their 10th anniversary concert. The concert is at the Jane Mallett Theatre, St Lawrence Centre for the Arts, Toronto. This is the second time a choir has covered my tunes, following the Riverdale Youth Singers singing 2 songs last year. The song “Birch Bark Canoe” has also been recorded by Toronto tenor Derrick Paul Miller for his upcoming solo album due out later this summer - watch for that.
