Happy-NESS…what a wicked weekend

A cracker of a good time was had at the Ness Creek Festival this weekend. My lord! Thanks to those who checked out my performance and workshop. I met so many people and slept so little that it’s all still a bit of a blur. Unfortunately my drummer and bass player had car trouble and weren’t able to make the Fri show - but Jill sang some great backing vocals (as usual) and our dear friend Donna Bergen stepped in a played some wonderful Djembe with us. The whole thing was absolutely magical. The world needs more NESS. Amen.

Ness Creek this weekend (July 20/21)

Show this past weekend - thanks for coming out

This past weekend on fri/sat and sun nights, I performed aross Saskatchewan. Interestingly all shows were by lakes (!). Sunday night was spent in beautiful Greenwater Provincial Park for Canada Day. Picture a mirrored lake, the sun setting above us, the show by the beach and people on blankets and lawnchairs and boats checking out the music. What a perfect Canadian summer evening. Thanks to Rob (bass), Jill (vox) and Jason (drums) for playing along over the weekend. Check out some upcoming dates on the calendar on this site.
