sorta Silent but extremely busy!

Although things have been ’seemingly’ fairly quiet the last little while, I assure you that the days here are busy, energized and moving at a lightning pace. I started work with Justin Gray in LA (Dec ‘07) for my upcoming recording (with more work to go) and things are sounding fantastic so far. It’s not done yet, but please check back for latest on its progress. More trips down to LA are being scheduled to have the recording all wrapped up this spring. New shows are always being booked and added to the calendar on this site as well - please check those out. This new album is going to be a DOOSER! I promise!
In the meantime - here I am standing in Ellen Degeneres’s driveway in Beverly Hills! seriously!

The Three Lads - standing room only

It was a pleasure to share the stage at Kensington Market’s ‘Bread and Circus’, with Grant Tilly and David Hein this past week - for “THE THREE LADS” show. Grant and I have done a series of shows at this venue featuring songwriters in-the-round, inviting a different 3rd person each time. And this past week we were delighted to have singer-songwriter David Hein along with us. The place was packed with standing room only, candles were lit, the ambience was warm and a great time was had by all. Songs covered a HUGE range of topics including love, loss of love, my god being better than yours, birds in subways, coming out of the closet, lesbians and witches (in the same song!!), pancakes and special K - to name but a few. Audience response was rousing- thanks to each and everyone of you for coming! I look forward to keeping this special night going - we’ll definitely be announcing another one. Thanks again to Kieran at Bread and Circus for hosting the evening.

Happy New Year!…and a recording update

I hope the new year has kicked off with a bang for you all! and is filled with love, happiness, good times, and good music. During the early days of January we’ll be doing more recording sessions for the new album, down in Los Angeles again. We’re starting some work on the launch plans for Spring ‘08 so stay tuned!
