Back in February I performed Gordon Lightfoot\’s \”If you could Read my Mind\” on the annual Telemiracle broadcast on CTV. It was a treat to get to play it with that great band – I\’m sharing the video here and hope you like my rendition. Also here are a few Saskatchewan performances coming up to tell you about: May 13 at 1pm I\’m performing at the Lieutenant Governor\’s Coronation Celebration at Government House, Regina SK. It\’s free to the public and I\’m debuting a new song commissioned by the LG to help Saskatchewan mark the occasion. May 13 7-10pm I\’m bringing a trio to the Saskatchewan Science Centre\’s annual Fantasy Food night. This year it has a \”prairie kitchen party\” theme. May 24 730pm I\’m heading to the Yorkton Film Festival for \”An Evening with Jeffery Straker – Piano Performance & Film Screening/Q & A featuring the music video: Heavy is the Burden\”.
