New Musical gets short-listed for a National Award!

Some exciting news has come in! Over the past few years (while releasing and touring my music) I’ve been working on a score for a musical with book/play written by Canadian playwright Kelley-Jo Burke. We were pretty thrilled to have the Globe Theatre in Regina Saskatchewan choose our new piece for a run on their mainstage in March 2018. And now, we just got word that the Playwrights Guild of Canada has short-listed our new work (called “US”) for its 2017 national awards. “US” has been shortlisted for the Tom Hendry Award for “Best Family Musical”. We’re in good company as some past winners of this prize include the musicals “Onegin” and “Come from Away” – both of which have gone on to do amazing things. Cross your fingers for us! They announce the winner at the end of October. If you’re interested in ticket info for the March 2018 Globe Theatre Regina staging CLICK HERE.
