Well, I\’m hanging out in LA finally starting to record my new album! I know I\’ve been saying since last spring \’the next record will be done SOON\’….and now it\’s actually happening – sorry for the slight delay. Things are sounding mighty I must say! The talented Justin Gray is producing and we have a stellar line-up of musicians playing including Justin Abedin on guitars and Randy Cooke on drums (http://myspace.com/randycooke). I\’m doing pianos and vocals as per usual. Also, I\’ve had the chance to check out Hollywood in true fashion and party on down like a (supposed) rock-star thanks to my friend Andrea (and then reminded myself that kicking your heals up til 7am makes the next day really rough – at least for me…..). We\’re back on track now and looking forward to recording more of this album. Stay tuned for updates! Just an interesting tidbit about the songs on the CD – half of them were written on a lovely old upright piano owned by my friend Natashia, in Regina Saskatchewan Canada. Amazing how songs can come out when you find the perfect instrument to write on. Thanks for checking out my site.
