Back from the USA

I’m back from the US tour with Ben Schaefer – had an excellent time in New York, Boston and New Jersey! Met so many great people along the way, and it was a pleasure performing the 2 wks with Ben (and Sandy in NYC too!) Thanks to everyone who came out and listened along the way – your support was wonderful for this itinerant CANNUCK. Here’s a snippet from a review received after one of the New York City shows: “Straker packs an impressive range into his delivery with his showtunes- and blues-influenced style. Armed with his piano, he could hold his own against a wild pack of attacking cabaret performers armed with broken martini glasses”…..
